DOWNSPIRIT: New Song Posted Online

DOWNSPIRIT, the new blues/metal-oriented band formed by SYMPHORCE/ex-FREEDOM CALL guitarist Cedric "Cede" Dupont, has posted a new song called "The End" on its MySpace page.

DOWNSPIRIT recently announced the addition of DOMAIN bassist Steven Wussow to the group's ranks.

Based in Stuttgart, Germany, DOWNSPIRIT is currently in pre-production for its upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in mid-2009. "Blending old blues roots with a modern, downtuned guitar-feel, their songs are a mixture of typical bluesy '80s hard rock and a contemporary metal sound, which also includes some electro loops," according to a press release.
